Writing Your English Language Teacher Experience Section

 

When writing your resume experience, it’s important to start with your current or most recent position and work your way back. Applicant Tracking System (ATS) scans read a resume looking for the mm/yyyy format on your dates so be sure to include the months for your employment timeframes, if possible.

Many teachers (school teachers and corporate instructors) write their experience section in a very task-oriented manner. That means the bullets are written in a way that just describes what was done at the job. Tell the story of what you did, but do it in an achievement-based way.
