So as a bar manager whose past work includes developing promotions, spell out how you excelled at this task, and how that translated to a more positive guest experience. ▪ Effectively implemented new systems and procedures that increased sales by 20%. This is an effective statement because it gives a concrete number. Consider how much more impressive it is to say “increased sales by 20%” than “increased sales” – the first tells readers how much revenue the systems generated, while the second leaves readers guessing. Resumes that give specific figures are more prone to catch the reader’s attention, and give a clear view of the scope/scale of a person’s duties and achievements.
